For many years, there has been talk of a crisis of the real or, more precisely, a crisis of the epistemological model with which the real is analyzed. This rational model has been called "simulatory" because it arises from the need to privilege only one plane of reason, the instrumental one, and consequently dissimulates and hides other planes of reason. Thus, this model has entered into crisis, and reason has responded by raising and complicating the level of simulation, needing a new interpretative model, a new map that can interpret the social.

It is a shared opinion that individual action tends to conform to social action. The latter responds to the set of cultural values of a society as a whole, that is, to its dominant values, which from time to time constitute the sense of society and structure it.

But then, if individual action flows into and constitutes social action, if social action corresponds to the set of cultural values of a society as a whole and ultimately structures it, could it not be that those socially accepted cultural values, over time, have conformed to a single reason, the instrumental and simulatory one?

If there is a crisis in the epistemological model with which society is analyzed, called the rational, simulatory epistemological model, since society is made up of individuals, there is also a crisis in the dominant cultural values to which social action conforms and, even more so, because these values have taken shape mainly through that simulatory reason that has been able to hide and silence other planes of reason.

From this, it follows that the dominant values are themselves simulators, hiding other planes of values. More precisely, rather than hiding, the dominant cultural values have precluded any possibility of developing other, nobler values that would allow for a different interpretative map, a new epistemological model with which to analyze reality.

But the crucial point of all this is the individual. For a desirable and, for now, utopian harmonious coexistence among human beings, we must start from the individual, from what they actually are and what they should be.

The values brought by a true human being are undoubtedly different.
